snap install hugo --channel=extended

Create a new website

hugo new site evilDevOps

Add a new post/article

hugo new post/helloWorld.md

Start test server

hugo server -D

Add a new theme

git submodule add https://github.com/budparr/gohugo-theme-ananke.git themes/ananke

Add a repo as a submodule and set it to follow master.

Only needed if you haven’t configured .gitmodules
